Travel between New Chitose Airport and Rusutsu Resort
Bus Transport
There are multiple bus companies that operate routes between New Chitose Airport and Rusutsu Resort. The trip takes roughly 2 hours 15 minutes, and prices vary depending on the company you book with. Prior reservations are required for most services, and we recommend booking ahead.

Private Transfer
There are many companies operating private transfer services between New Chitose Airport and Rusutsu Resort. Private transfers are a great option if you want a comfortable, private ride that will leave at your schedule and potentially make stops for you along the route. Many companies advertise transfers to Niseko but are willing to take you to Rusutsu as well.
Sky Station provides transfers between New Chitose Airport and Rusutsu Resort. It is also possible to combine with a sightseeing trip on the way.

Helicopter Transfer
Rusutsu Resort is now accessible by Helicopter. The resort helicopter charter service will allow you a much quicker and more convenient way to travel to Rusutsu Resort from within Hokkaido. You can choose to depart or arrive from New Chitose Airport or other airports and resorts in Hokkaido.
Travel between Sapporo and Rusutsu Resort
Bus Transport
There are multiple buses daily from Sapporo to Rusutsu Resort. Some of the same companies that operate from New Chitose Airport also have routes that begin/end in Sapporo city. Prices vary as do pick-up/drop-off locations; some buses only stop at the Sapporo bus station terminal, while others will pick-up/drop-off at various hotels around the city. There is also a free daily shuttle bus for Rusutsu Resort guests that leaves from nearby Sapporo station.

Free Shuttle Bus
There is a free bus for Rusutsu Resort guests that travels between Sapporo and Rusutsu Resort daily. Reservations must be made by 15:00, 1 day prior to departure date. Online reservations will be available starting mid-October.
From Sapporo
- The bus departs from Kamori Building 3 at 08:00 and arrives at Rusutsu Resort at 10:00
- The meeting point is located 2 minutes’ walk from the South Exit of JR Sapporo Station. You’ll find a Lawson convenience store on the first floor of the building, which is located on southeast of Asty 45, south of Hotel Gracery Sapporo.
- Before you get aboard, please speak to the staff waiting at the reception on 1F (first floor) of Kamori Building or in front of the building.
From Rusutsu Resort
- The bus departs from Rusutsu Resort at 16:40 and arrives at Sapporo at 19:00
